We are delighted to be named as a finalist for the first ever South West Environmental Sustainability Award – part of the Taste of the West Awards 20190. This new award assesses businesses approaches to protecting the environment and using resources ethically but also looks at their future plans. The award is assessed across five marks of environmental sustainability – packaging, raw materials, waste and recycling, energy use, and water use.
Taste of the West – Patron HRH Prince Charles, is the largest independent regional food group in the UK promoting and supporting local food and drink from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. The unique organisation is owned by over 1,000 members including food and drink producers, restaurants, cafes, pubs, hotels, farm shops and specialist retailers in the South West – all passionate about the provenance and quality of the products they make, serve or sell.
